About the Role

As a client-focused Occupational Therapist you will provide assessment, treatment, and support to help patients achieve independence, restore function, and successfully reintegrate into the community. Working in a collaborative healthcare environment, you will deliver exceptional patient and family experiences while applying innovative and client-centered care practices. What you bring: Graduate from a recognized university's Occupational Therapy Program Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) Two years of current occupational therapy experience preferred Demonstrates a commitment to client-centered care Possesses current acute care experience Demonstrates skill and interest in working with individuals with varied diagnoses and impairments Demonstrates a commitment to developing an individual’s optimum level of independence, restoring function, and community reintegration Possess an attitude of respect and sensitivity towards clients with varied backgrounds, abilities, and educational statuses Demonstrates familiarity with the assessment and treatment of cognitive impairments Demonstrates initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to determine innovative solutions and treatment plans Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal Demonstrated problem assessment skills Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork Demonstrated individual leadership skills Commitment to providing an exceptional experience for patients and families, as well as other members of the healthcare team, within a challenging and exciting healthcare environment. Requirements

Must be a graduate of a recognized Occupational Therapy program and registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO). Two years of current occupational therapy experience and acute care experience are preferred.
