ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST (SONOGRAPHER) (CROSS-SITE - TEMPORARY PART TIME) One (1) temporary part time cross-site Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) position is available in the Diagnostic Imaging Department at North Wellington Health Care (Louise Marshall Hospital & Palmerston and District Hospital). The homesite for this position is Louise Marshall Hospital.
This position is unionized with OPSEU.
Graduate of a Canadian Accredited Ultrasound Training Program Current Membership with the CMRTO and proof of professional liability insurance Small parts, general, abdominal, obstetrical experience NT (Nuchal Translucency) certification is preferred Vascular (Carotids etc.) ABI exams and MSK Shoulders and Knees etc.) experience is preferred or working towards Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with many and varied internal and external individuals, groups, and agencies Other duties as required Satisfactory performance and attendance required Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired HOURS OF WORK: As per department schedule Must be available for all shifts
$36.84 - $51.77 per hour
