The clinic nurse is responsible for delivering harm reduction and supportive treatment modalities for patients with opiate dependency. Duties include administering medications, performing clinical tests like ECGs and venipuncture, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to manage patient treatment plans.
Candidates must hold a diploma in Registered Practical Nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and be in good standing with the College of Nurses in Ontario. A current First Aid and CPR certification, along with a clean criminal reference check, are required for this position.

The Clinic Nurse is accountable for the development and delivery of a range of harm reduction and supportive treatment modalities for patients with opiate dependency based on a patient centered model of care. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, caring individual and who can understand the challenges our patients and their families face. As the ideal candidate you are a nurse who is able to interact with diverse and cultural clients while delivering exceptional support and treatment. Working within a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals, you have excellent communication skills, thrive on working within a team within a busy clinic work environment.
Founded in 1995, Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres (CATC) operates three inpatient addiction treatment centres, a national network of more than 70 outpatient substance use disorder treatment clinics and specialty pharmacies in Canada.

Our outpatient clinics provide walk-in support in person or virtually to enable community-based access to accredited treatment programs. Our inpatient treatment centres provide structured, 24/7 medically supported care in a safe and therapeutic environment for individuals who require intensive stabilization and recovery support. Care is focused on building a strong foundation for long-term recovery through accredited, evidence-based programming. Our secure virtual counselling services make care more accessible through flexible, remote connections with qualified professionals.
