The clinician provides comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment services, including assessments, therapy, and crisis intervention. They also collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support client recovery and oversee the work of pre-licensed clinicians.
A Master's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology is required along with current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in health care or human services and possess a valid driver's license.

The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Behavioral Health Clinician provides comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment services to individuals in supportive housing or residential settings. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering individual and group therapy, and offering clinical interventions to promote stability, recovery, and independent living. The clinician collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to address the complex needs of individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges, trauma, and housing instability, utilizing evidence-based practices to support overall well-being and prevent a return to homelessness.
In order to ensure that our consumers receive the best possible care the candidate chosen to fill this position will be required to complete our internal credentialing and privileging process prior to a start date. The credentialing and privileging timeline is dependent on the selected candidate's submission of documents necessary for clearance. Please note that a start date will be scheduled once credentialing and privileging is complete.
