The EMG Technologist is responsible for performing electromyography testing and documenting patient care in a multidisciplinary environment. They will also monitor and maintain equipment and assess patient capabilities and limitations.
Candidates must be registered as an EMG Technologist and have at least one year of experience in EMG testing. They should possess excellent communication and organizational skills and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing education and safety practices.

Position Overview: Reporting to the Manager for Cardiac Diagnostics, the EMG Technologist plays an essential role in the diagnosis of health conditions affecting the muscles and nerve cells and is responsible for performing EMGs. They will perform electromyography testing, documenting, equipment monitoring, cleaning and maintenance, and other duties as assigned including: - assessing, planning implementation and evaluating patient care and practice activities in a multidisciplinary patient centered care environment.
