The clinician performs intensive outreach and engagement services to connect homeless individuals with behavioral health, primary care, and recovery support services. They provide brief therapeutic interventions, conduct biopsychosocial assessments, and develop comprehensive treatment plans within an integrated health team.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field and be registered with DORA as a candidate for licensure. Experience in integrated health care, mental health, or substance use treatment settings is preferred.

The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks an Outreach Behavioral Health Clinician II who works directly with street outreach workers to identify and engage individuals living on the streets and other places not meant for human habitation who are in need of behavioral health care, but for a variety of reasons are unable to access care on their own. The Outreach Behavioral Health Clinician II works directly with other care providers to provide assessments and related diagnoses, consultation, education, brief therapeutic interventions, and referral/linkage for individuals with behavioral health issues. The Outreach Behavioral Health Clinician assists clients in navigating community based behavioral health and health care systems for optimal care. This position is located at 2100 Broadway Denver, CO 80205 and reports to the Clinical Program Manager.
In order to ensure that our consumers receive the best possible care the candidate chosen to fill this position will be required to complete our internal credentialing and privileging process prior to a start date. The credentialing and privileging timeline is dependent on the selected candidate's submission of documents necessary for clearance. Please note that a start date will be scheduled once credentialing and privileging is complete.

Licensed health care providers may earn funds towards student loans in exchange for a two-year commitment at an NHSC-approved site through this program.
[Language for RN/LPN postings only – Remove if not needed] Qualified candidates are eligible for the NURSE Corps Loan Repayment Program which offers payment of 60% of unpaid nursing education debt in exchange for a two-year commitment at a NURSE Corps approved site with an option to extend to a third year for an additional 25% of the original balance.
