The psychiatrist is responsible for the clinical care of assigned patients, including admission, assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment planning. They will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care and maintain comprehensive medical documentation.
Candidates must hold a specialist certification in Psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent. They must also be in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).

Our program emphasizes individualized, one-on-one treatment, supported by intentionally small patient caseloads. A locum opportunity is available for a Psychiatrist at The Residence at Homewood, Aug through October 2026 working 3 days per week.
In this role, the Psychiatrist will deliver on-site, evidence-based psychiatric care for individuals living with depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and concurrent disorders. Working collaboratively within a dedicated interdisciplinary team, including Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Addiction Counselling, Art Therapy, Recreation Therapy, Strength & Conditioning, and 24/7 Nursing, the Psychiatrist will play a key role in comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, individualized treatment planning, and clinical oversight throughout the client’s stay.
