Duties include interpreting medication orders and prescriptions, assessing therapeutic suitability, and ensuring medications are efficiently and accurately dispensed, compounded, and labeled. You will communicate with healthcare professionals and patients to resolve prescription issues, offer instructions on medication use, and participate in medication use evaluations, safety initiatives, quality control activities, and clinical drug trials. You will also ensure all activities comply with legal, professional, and departmental standards. This is a relief full-time (1.00 FTE) opportunity working rotating day and evening shifts until the return of the incumbent. • Current registration as a Pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia; and
• Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged.
