Under the direction of the Program Coordinator or delegate, provides nursing care for children and youth with behavioural, emotional and psychiatric disturbances. Within the context of a multi-disciplinary team and in a residential setting, provides care and treatment to children and youth, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation.
Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as RN or RPN.
Minimum two years' recent related experience including paediatric and psychiatric experience.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage aggressive behaviour.
Physical ability to perform duties.
Ability to operate related equipment
