The role involves appropriately assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating services for patient care, performing all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services such as scaling, root planning, polishing, and applying sealants and fluoride. Additionally, the hygienist will serve as an oral health educator, introducing new preventative techniques and counseling patients.

Four or five days a week 8: 00am to 5:00pm
The wage for this Dental Hygienist position is $45-$55/hour with the opportunity to negotiate higher pay for exceptional experience and fit.

Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care
Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients
Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour

Candidates must possess a completed Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree and maintain current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body. A valid CPR certification is also required for this position.
