Position Summary

We are hiring for a casual Rehab Assistant for our long-term care rehabilitation team in Vernon. This position may be supporting any of our long-term care facilities in Vernon. As this position works closely with both Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists experience working with both disciplines is considered an asset. Casual means that hours are not guaranteed and may vary depending on the needs of the facility. Days of Work: any day as needed Shift times/Hours of work: 08:00 to 16:00

About the Role

Under the clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, the Rehabilitation Assistant functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team in meeting the needs of the client. The Rehabilitation Assistant carries out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assists the therapist in monitoring and evaluating patients/residents’ progression.
