Physician Assistants (PAs) practice medicine under the supervision of a physician, collecting and interpreting medical information, making clinical decisions, and performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. They work within a formalized relationship with a physician as regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
Candidates must have completed a recognized accredited PA educational program and be certified with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants. Membership and licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a Physician Assistant is also required.

Physician Assistants (PAs) are academically and clinically educated medical generalists who practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a physician. Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS.
