The Registered Practical Nurse is responsible for providing optimum care services tailored to resident needs, including the delivery of skilled procedures and medication administration. This role requires adherence to quality management, legislative requirements, and organizational standards while demonstrating a commitment to resident safety.
Candidates must possess a Diploma in Practical Nursing and current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, along with current AIS and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certifications. A minimum of one year of experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care as an RPN is preferred.

Diploma in Practical Nursing and current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario Current AIS Certification Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate. Current Medication Administration certificate (if applicable). Post graduate studies in Geriatrics and Nursing Administration an asset.
