Physician Assistants practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a Physician, collecting and interpreting medical information, making clinical decisions, and carrying out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. They operate under a Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).
Candidates must have completed an accredited PA degree program recognized by PACCC and maintain good standing licensure with CPSS, or be eligible for registration, along with NCCPA certification (PA-C). Clinical experience working as a PA in a related field is considered an asset.
