Market context

Community PT roles remain selective in Ontario

In Ontario, community-based physiotherapist roles are typically driven by ongoing demand for home and community care, especially for clinicians who can work independently with diverse client needs. These positions are competitive because employers often look for registered PTs with direct HCCSS/OH@H or similar community experience, plus strong mobility assessment and care-planning skills. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this page to save time, then confirm your College of Physiotherapists of Ontario registration and highlight relevant home-care caseload experience in your application.
