The role involves working in a two-to-one setting at residential locations supporting individuals with developmental delays, mental health issues, ADHD, FASD, Autism, OCD, and challenging behaviors, focusing on behavior management and strengthening bonds. Duties include applying knowledge of developmental disabilities and mental health concerns, communicating effectively in English, following health care plans, and safely transporting individuals to community appointments and activities.
Candidates must possess a Class 5 BC Driver's License with a clean abstract and have a personal vehicle with $2 million third-party liability insurance. A minimum of one year of experience (or a combination of education and experience) is required, along with Positive Behaviour Management Training and the ability to obtain necessary Criminal Record Clearances.

$27.54/hour
*Some benefits have eligibility requirements of surpassing three (3) months and securing a regular position of 20hrs/week or more. The benefits and criteria may change from time to time at the discretion of Strive.
The position entails working in a two to one setting at our residential locations with individuals who are diagnosed with developmental delays, mental health, ADHD, FASD, Autism, OCD, self-harming and challenging behaviours. These individualized settings foster opportunities to focus on behaviour management and strengthen the bond with each child in the home.
