The nurse will be responsible for ensuring patient preparation and safety before, during, and after surgical procedures, while closely collaborating with the surgical and anesthesia teams for optimal intervention flow. Responsibilities also include administering intraoperative care, monitoring vital signs, maintaining asepsis standards, and accurate documentation.
Candidates must possess a recognized nursing diploma and be registered with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ), with operating room experience being desired. Essential requirements include excellent communication, teamwork skills, the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced setting, and availability for flexible shifts including day, evening, and night.
