The role involves appropriately assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating services for patient care, including performing all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services such as scaling, root planning, and polishing. Additionally, the hygienist will serve as an oral health educator, introducing new preventative techniques and counseling patients.
Candidates must have completed a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree and possess current, good-standing registration with the provincial regulatory body. A valid CPR certification is also required for this position.
