As an Assistant in Nursing, the role involves supporting Registered and Enrolled Nurses by delivering essential care tasks and assisting with daily patient activities across various clinical settings. The primary goal is to ensure patients have a safe, comfortable, and dignified experience while being a valued member of the healthcare team.
Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate nursing or midwifery program, or undertaking an approved Enrolled Nurse course, or hold a relevant Certificate III or IV in a health-related discipline. Experience in providing nursing or midwifery care within the boundaries of their education and skill preparation is also required.
