NORTH WELLINGTON HEALTH CARE PALMERSTON & DISTRICT HOSPITAL POSTING #2026-60 REGISTERED NURSE (REGULAR PART TIME) POSITION OVERVIEW: One (1) regular part time Registered Nurse opportunity is available at the Palmerston & District Hospital, site of North Wellington Health Care.
This position will be responsible for comprehensive nursing care as established by the standards of nursing practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario and according to policies and procedures as set out by NWHC.
Current Ontario RN Certificate of Competence BScN is an asset Membership in RNAO and CNA is an asset Current BCLS ACLS - current Maternal Child Course or relevant clinical experience for exemption NRP Cardiac monitoring skills (ECG application & interpretation, cardiac arrhythmia interpretation) Competent to start IV Competent in phlebotomy Certified for defibrillation TNCC recommended ENPC/PALS recommended CTAS Must be prepared to work in all areas of the Hospital, including the Emergency Department Demonstrated excellent communication skills both verbal and written Proven organizational and critical-thinking skills Ability to function as an effective interdisciplinary team member Ability to assume a leadership/charge role Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and willingness to actively participate in departmental educational activities Satisfactory performance and attendance required Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired
Hours of work: As per Department Schedule Must be available to work all shifts
$40.24 - $57.68 per hour
