Client Services As Instructor Therapist you will be delivering services using a combination of one to one and small group instruction. You will provide individualized services to meet the needs of each child and youth based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Strive to support families in the best way possible and use a family centered approach to identify the strengths and needs of the child or youth with a focus on increasing their skills. As an Instructor Therapist, you will participate in the delivery of evidence-based programming ABA such as administering skill acquisition programs, teaching appropriate behaviours and reducing challenging behaviour, teaching communication and social skills, play skills, and life skills. Regularly liaise with parents to provide progress updates and support parent coaching sessions. Create teaching materials to support programming. Collect and monitor data. Data Collection and Review Conduct behaviour or curriculum assessments. Monitor and track progress by keeping detailed daily records and information on the child’s challenging behaviour, skill acquisition, and other aspects of the planned interventions. Administrative Duties Maintain the clinical binder for each client. This includes preparing datasheets, daily graphing, and adjusting programming based on the set revision and mastery criterion. Participate in agency initiatives to further enhance our supports and services.
