Support hospital-wide suicide risk screening projects.
Provide nursing information and coaching regarding suicide prevention.
Support patients and families with suicide prevention.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Participate in program development and implementation.
Mentor students and new staff.
Perform other mental health duties as assigned

The are currently looking for Registered Nurse (RN) to offer mental health nursing as part of the multidisciplinary Consultation Liaison team. Services will include
Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check.
Current College of Nurses registration.
Current CPR certification.
B.Sc.
Nursing.
Minimum 2 years of mental health nursing experience.
Experience in crisis intervention and evidence-based treatment.
Knowledge of mental health legislation and treatment modalities.
Experience with suicide risk assessment and intervention.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of crisis and suicide support services in Ottawa and eastern Ontario
