In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority, patient safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at VIHA; as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position. Reporting to the Program Director or Senior, and under the general direction of the Program Director or Senior, Psychology, provides developmental and psychological assessments and psychological treatment of infants, children, adolescents, and their families referred to the Queen Alexandra Centre for Children's Health. Travel may be a requirement of this position. Transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of the Vancouver Island Health Authority in accordance with the service assignment and may require use of a personal vehicle.
Doctoral degree in clinical child psychology, current licensure as a Psychologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC, 1-5 years experience working with infants, children, and adolescents with developmental or emotional/behavioral issues, valid BC Driver's license.
