Responsibilities

include assessing patients' oral health status and contributing to preventive care planning, as well as performing clinical preventive hygiene treatments such as scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride application, and placing pit and fissure sealants. The role also involves taking radiographs, documenting patient files, educating patients on hygiene practices, and collaborating closely with the clinical team.

Candidates must possess a college diploma in dental hygiene and be a registered member in good standing with the Quebec Order of Dental Hygienists, along with a valid CPR certification. Essential requirements include excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong sense of organization, attention to detail, and a professional, humanistic approach when dealing with patients.
