The Registered Practical Nurse will provide care to patients experiencing psychiatric crisis requiring short-stay admission, adhering to CNO standards and administering psychiatric and non-psychiatric medications. Responsibilities also include facilitating groups, assessing and preventing suicide, managing aggressive behavior using non-violent crisis intervention, and engaging with interdisciplinary teams.

This job posting is for an existing vacant position within the organization. The starting rate of pay (Step 1) for this position is $36.62 hourly, in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Progression through the wage steps is governed by the terms of the collective agreement.
