The pharmacist will provide thoughtful medication counseling and clinical care, build strong relationships with patients and prescribers, and deliver specialized services like opioid agonist therapy and minor ailment prescribing. Key duties also include administering injections, resolving medication-related problems proactively, and contributing to continuous workflow improvement.
Candidates must be a licensed Pharmacist in Ontario (Part A register) and possess strong clinical judgment and attention to detail, along with clear professional communication skills. Experience or willingness to obtain authorization for Methadone/OAT and training for minor ailments prescribing are required, while injection certification is preferred.
