The clinical team at our Harvey Avenue (Kelowna) clinic are passionate about enriching the health of their clients through a holistic approach, as the Occupational Therapist you will create tailored rehabilitation plans, recommend job or home modifications, and assist with return-to-work planning. Also addressing physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges and support skill-building and environmental adaptation to improve their independence and quality of life.

Your impact
You will primarily provide program-based treatments and assessments for both individual and program-based treatments and assessments for individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, and LTD In this role, you will:
Evaluate the worker's physical, cognitive, and psychological functions, as well as job demands and workplace environment
Create tailored, graded return-to-work plans with specific, measurable goals that gradually increase activity and build tolerance.
Perform clinical evaluations, provide exercises, functional tasks, and cognitive strategies (e.g., pacing, energy conservation) to address injury-related deficits.
Occupational Health screenings to evaluate an employee's physical, cognitive, and functional capacity to ensure they can safely perform job duties
Identification of appropriate equipment needs with initiation of recommendations
Teach techniques like mindfulness, relaxation, and sleep hygiene to manage pain, fatigue, and emotional distress.
Provide education to the client and employer about the recovery process, the benefits of staying connected to work, and their roles in the plan.
Record assessment and treatment interventions in the client's chart
Excel in a collaborative, inter-disciplinary team environment
Exhibit sound professional judgment
Are you the right fit?
As one of the largest networks of OTs in the nation, you will work within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, delivering high-quality, client-centred care across multiple clinics or specific clinics and community settings. Key skills and qualifications include:
Registered and in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of current Occupational Therapy standards, modalities and scope of practice; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
1-3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred.
Newly licensed graduates are welcome to apply. We will provide the mentorship and coaching to help you succeed in your career.
Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle, a plus.
