The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care services, performing all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services such as scaling, root planning, polishing, and applying sealants and fluoride. The wage for this Dental Hygienist position is $46-$56/hour with the opportunity to negotiate higher pay for exceptional experience and fit.

Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care
Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients
Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour

Candidates must possess a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree and maintain current, good-standing registration with the provincial regulatory body. A valid CPR certification is also required for this position.
