Associate dentist - Southern shore dental

Full-Time | New Grads Welcome

The opportunity

Southern Shore Dental is a well-established, community-rooted practice just outside St. John’s with steady patient flow and a schedule that stays consistently full. This is a full-time role where you step into immediate production, with a loyal patient base already built, and a team that knows how to support you properly. You’re be stepping into something that’s already built.

The practice environment & clinical growth

We are a collaborative, respectful team with strong hygiene support, dedicated assistants, and systems that keep the day running smoothly. The culture is steady, positive, and genuinely team-first.

We are a true full-scope general practice with room to grow. Digital workflows, modern imaging and scanning, and sedation support give you the ability to expand your clinical scope over time; whether that’s strengthening your foundation or pushing into more advanced procedures.

  • You’re the right fit if…
  • You value a team that works well together and supports each other
  • You want consistent demand and the ability to build strong patient relationships
  • You’re motivated to grow clinically in a stable, well-run environment
  • You’re comfortable working independently while still having support when you need it
  • You’re a new grad looking for the right first opportunity — or an experienced dentist looking for consistency and balance

Market context

Veterinary roles in steady demand

In Newfoundland and Labrador, veterinary roles are often shaped by ongoing demand for clinicians who can support companion-animal and mixed-practice needs, especially in communities where access can be limited. These positions are competitive because employers look for licensure eligibility, strong ethical practice, and a collaborative approach; the listed benefits include paid vacation, fully employer-paid health and dental coverage, continuing education funding, and mentorship. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your licensure status and prepare examples of teamwork and client communication from your experience.
