The Clinic Nurse is responsible for developing and delivering harm reduction and supportive treatment modalities for patients with opiate dependency within a patient-centered model. Duties include administering medications, collaborating with the healthcare team on treatment plans, performing various clinical tasks like ECGs and venipuncture, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Candidates must possess a Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and be a member in good standing with the College of Nurses in Ontario. Required qualifications include current First Aid and CPR Certification, a commitment to working with individuals facing addiction, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

The Clinic Nurse is accountable for the development and delivery of a range of harm reduction and supportive treatment modalities for patients with opiate dependency based on a patient centered model of care. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, caring individual and who can understand the challenges our patients and their families face. As the ideal candidate you are a nurse who is able to interact with diverse and cultural clients while delivering exceptional support and treatment. Working within a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals, you have excellent communication skills, thrive on working within a team within a busy clinic work environment.
