Foria Clinic provides virtual care to ensure equitable access to healthcare for patients across the province. We also partner with an in-person clinic in Calgary, AB, allowing physicians based there to choose between virtual or onsite care.
PurposeMed's office is located on the unceded and traditional territories of the peoples of the Treaty 7 region which includes the nations of the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Îethka Stoney Nakoda which consists of the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Good Stoney Bands, and people of the Tsuut’ina First Nation. The city of Calgary is also homeland to the historic Northwest Métis and to the Otipemisiwak Métis government, Métis Nation Battle River Territory, Nose Hill Métis District 5 and Elbow Métis District 6.

We are looking for Physicians who are passionate about providing high quality gender-affirming care to our Foria Clinic patients. Foria clinic is primarily a virtual clinic providing trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse Canadians with gender-affirming healthcare. Reporting to the Medical Director of Foria, our team of physicians provide hormone assessments and prescriptions, surgical assessments and referrals, and general health care to trans and nonbinary people in Alberta. • Previous experience and/or training in trans and nonbinary health care (e.g. from Trans Care BC, Rainbow Health Ontario, WPATH, etc.)

Candidates must have a CPSA license in good standing and CMPA coverage for practice in Alberta. An interest in gender-affirming care and previous experience in trans and non-binary healthcare is preferred.
