The Pharmacist will deliver patient-focused clinical services, including medication reviews, chronic disease management, and administering vaccines and immunizations. Key duties also involve counseling patients, monitoring drug effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with all governing regulatory standards.
Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the British Columbia College of Pharmacist, requiring both Injection and Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) certifications. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.
Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a full-time Pharmacist to join our team at Pharmasave in Merritt, BC. Patient Focused Care Responsibilities: Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development. Administer vaccines and immunizations Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned
