The Health Care Aide reports to the Health & Wellness Manager or Director of Care, providing personal care and executing selected tasks within their skill set while adhering to all standards and procedures. Key duties include assisting residents with personal care, daily living activities, transfers, and observing/reporting on resident conditions to the supervisor.

Candidates must be graduates of a Health Care Aide program (or provincial equivalent with a minimum of 500 hours in Ontario & Alberta) and have experience working with seniors in a community health setting. Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting/transferring clients are mandatory.
