The Primary Care Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver primary health care services, including health assessment, promotion, disease prevention, and emergency services to the communities. This role also involves conducting community needs assessments and participating in evaluation projects, with some required travel within the region.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and be registered or eligible for registration with the CRNS as an RN (NP). Essential requirements include BLS for Healthcare Provider (Level C) certification, a valid Class 5 driver's license, and strong written and oral communication skills.

In collaboration with the physicians and other health care professionals, the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner will provide primary health care services to the communities. This includes health assessment, health promotion and protection, disease and injury prevention and assessment, provision of supportive women's wellness, instructive treatment and emergency services. In collaboration with and referral to other health care professionals; conducting community needs assessments and participating in evaluation projects.
