The Occupational Health Nurse will conduct pre-placement medicals, support medical monitoring programs, and participate in return to work programs. This role focuses on assisting employers in delivering effective return to work solutions in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.

We are seeking candidates like you for the position of Occupational Health Nurse located in Kitchener, Cambridge or Guelph, Ontario.

Our schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.

Job Description

Join our team where you will be responsible for conducting pre-placement medicals, supporting medical monitoring programs, participating in return to work programs and providing first aid. This position will focus on assisting employers with delivering effective return to work solutions in accordance with Apex and client corporate policies and procedures while supporting our shared goal of delivering innovative employee health programs and solutions to our clients. What we look for: Strong case management skills from intake to resolution for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illness. This position is all about people and how you ensure a positive RTW experience for our client’s employees. A passion for delivering excellent occupational health and clinical health care services to a specific work site. Demonstrated experience using an electronic medical record system (and you may even boast about your excellent data entry skills). Someone who can wear many hats in a day and look good doing it. Compliance orientation with a penchant for all that good occupational health related legislation (WSIA, AODA, OHSA, HRC just to name a few). Deadlines are part of this role, so you gotta love them! A can-do attitude with a willingness to learn. There isn't a job that is too big or too small at Apex. Registered Nurse with experience in Occupational Health Nursing. Requirements

Candidates should have strong case management skills and a passion for delivering excellent occupational health services. A registered nurse with experience in occupational health nursing is required, along with compliance orientation and excellent data entry skills.
