I am applying for the Physiotherapist position at Glenmore Physiotherapy and Sport. I carry roughly fifty active clients weighted toward post-surgical knee and shoulder reconstruction, and I write the return-to-work assessments our clinic completes for insurers.
An insurer assessment is a written argument as much as a clinical one, and ours are rarely returned because the functional testing is described in enough detail to stand on its own. Before this I mobilized patients on the orthopaedic ward from the first day after joint replacement.
Your posting mentions taking direct post-surgical referrals earlier than the clinic has previously accepted them. The inpatient side of my background is the reason an early referral does not worry me, though the surgeon protocols would need to be agreed in writing.
I hold Physiotherapist registration, the national competency examination, and level three manual therapy training.
