I am applying for the Occupational Therapist position at Sackville Home Care Services. I carry a community caseload of about thirty clients seen in their own homes, completing the home safety assessments and prescribing the equipment that follows.

In a home there is no colleague in the next room, so the assessment and the decision happen in the same visit and the reasoning has to hold up afterwards. My inpatient rehabilitation years are where I learned to run the pre-discharge home visit, which is the same judgment from the other side.

Your posting covers a rural catchment with long drives between clients. Travel time is caseload time, and a schedule built as though it were not is the reason community positions turn over.

I hold Occupational Therapist registration and have completed the national certification examination.

I would like to hear how many clients a day the route is built around and how equipment funding is handled here. I can meet at your convenience.
